- Install lower cap with bolts slightly loose.
- Lightly tighten teflon screw in upper cap to align clamp.
- Tighten lower frame caps bolts “evenly” and keep gap equal in order to NOT twist clamp.
- Remove teflon screw and install grease zerk – grease until FULL.
- Slide torsion bar back and forth side to side slightly to ensure bar is COMPLETELY FREE – IF NOT – repeat steps 6 - 8 until FREE
- Remove your torsion arm bolts and install bolts supplied.
- Install LR drop link first by bolting to drilled and tapped torsion arm bolt supplied with kit – then bolt to flex blade of arm.
- Install RR drop link by first bolting it to the drilled and tapped torsion arm bolt supplied in kit– (determine if spacer needed to align with Torsion bar) then adjust to length and attach to torsion bar.
- Now center torsion bar in order to have the drop links hang down as close to vertical as possible. Move torsion bar clamps (supplied) to within 1/8” inch of chassis clamps and lock in place. (1/8” to 3/16” total end play suggested)
- Route cable (longer cable for right side across rear torsion tubes, over Jacobs ladder, and to right side of cockpit.
- Install cockpit control unit – set with handle towards rear of car – install cable mount – pull mount and cable to end of adjustment away from control – move back 1/8” – tighten clamp bolts.
- Ty-wrap cable “SECURELY”.
- ***Adjust length of RR drop link until lower bolt slides into torsion bar W/ NO load on bar, with driver seated in car, chassis blocked, tire pressures set, race car ready for competition
- Soften RR torsion by .025 from standard set-up
- Follow recommended shock suggestions.
- Moving handle down or towards rear will loosen car and up or forward will tighten car
